Tajikistan sends 3,000 tons humanitarian aid to quake-hit people in Afghanistan

On the morning of September 8, on the instructions of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, humanitarian aid was sent to the people of Afghanistan, who suffered from a strong earthquake.
The aid loaded on a caravan of trucks consists of 24 types of necessary products and materials, including flour, oil, sugar, rice, bedding, clothing and footwear for children, adolescents and adults, tents, building materials, reinforcement, boards, slate, cement, and other goods and products.
The sent aid is more than 3 thousand tons.
This step is a clear manifestation of the compassion of the people of Tajikistan to the brotherly people of Afghanistan and testifies to the humane and good-neighborly policy of Tajikistan and the Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon.
We recall that on August 31 and September 1, a powerful earthquake occurred in Afghanistan, causing significant material damage and human casualties.
