DUSHANBE, 30.09.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On September 30, in Fayzobod district, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, got acquainted with the detailed planning project of Vashgird township.

Based on the general plan, the new township is designed on an area of 163 hectares for a population of more than 90 thousand people.

The project includes the construction of high-rise residential buildings, 5 educational institutions with 1,200 seats each, 3 kindergartens for 600 children, as well as administrative buildings for state bodies, including the Prosecutor’s Office, the Court, divisions of the State Committee for National Security, Emergencies, and other structures.

According to the conclusion of experts, the project will be implemented in two stages.

In the southern part, administrative buildings and houses from 6 to 10 floors will be built, and in the other part of the township, buildings from 9 to 14 floors will be built.

At the same time, the reconstruction of the administrative center of the Vashgird township is also planned.

During the development of the plan, special attention was paid to national architectural art and the use of high-quality materials.

While reviewing the projects, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, emphasized compliance with modern urban planning standards and the use of high-quality materials, and instructed those responsible to fully monitor the construction process.

At the same time, the Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, laid the foundation stone for the construction of a secondary education institution for 1,280 students in two shifts and a kindergarten for 240 children in the Sheramon village of the Mehrobod rural community.

The educational institution and kindergarten will be built with a modern design by Bobojon Karimzoda, a veteran of the Tajik militia, and his businessman son, Manuchehr Karimzoda.

As reported, the construction of another preschool educational institution for 400 children is also currently underway by them in Dushanbe.

The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, expressed gratitude to the generous father and his enterprising son for such worthy deeds, and gave instructions and recommendations for the high-quality completion of construction work.

With the implementation of these important projects, the image of Fayzobod district will become even more beautiful, and the living conditions and education and upbringing of children will improve.
