On April 24, during a working trip to the city of Nurek, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan,  Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, after the opening of unit number 7 of the Nurek Hydropower Plant, remotely commissioned 8 facilities of social, economic, and industrial purpose.

First, the Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, inaugurated the building of the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology at the Central Hospital of Nurek, built by the patriotic businessman Abdurasul Muhidzoda.

This facility has modern conditions for medical services and employs 35 people.

Other facilities that were remotely commissioned were the new building of regulators, a diagnostic center and a garage for specialists responsible for providing the city’s population with clean drinking and sewage water.

This building provides favorable working conditions for 40 specialists.

The purpose of the construction of the facility was to restore water supply and sewage networks, improve the quality of services and the sanitary and ecological situation in the territory of the city of Nurek.

Also, within the framework of the implementation of the fourth national goal — accelerated industrialization of the country, a poultry farm was put into operation in the village of Langar.

6 thousand poultry are raised at this enterprise. Officials plan to increase the number of chickens to more than 15 thousand by the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.

2 preschool institutions for 120 children in the villages of Chal-Chal and Chashma began operating, which is a constructive initiative in the direction of increasing the coverage of children in preschool education and educating the younger generation. The building of a preschool institution for 60 children in the village of Chashmai 1, with 12 jobs, was put at the service of residents.

As part of the development measures, the administrative building of the Social Insurance and Pension Agency in Nurek city began operating with 11 jobs.

Also, a new building for the sale of consumer goods and fresh vegetables in the Ramzi Nurek market was opened by young entrepreneur Aminjon Asadullozoda, which provided 80 local residents with jobs.

Also, a sports field was built by the Directorate for the Construction of Government Facilities of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, which will actively promote the development of football in the country and the popularization of sports.

A small concrete production plant was built near the Dukon enterprise in the Dukoni village community by local entrepreneur Abdukarim Nazar. The production capacity of the plant is 40 cubic meters per day, and 15 local residents will be provided with permanent jobs.

A project for a modern medical, recreational and tourist resort, which will be located on the picturesque banks of the Vakhsh River, was presented here. The sanatorium is designed to accommodate more than a hundred people at a time, and dozens of local residents will find jobs and good salaries there.

Currently, the construction of 3 preschool educational institutions with a capacity of 900 children is underway in the city of Nurek, which will be in operation by the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of Tajikistan.

During the presentation of this facility, the Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, gave instructions and recommendations to officials to expand the development and construction work dedicated to the great national holiday of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence.
