25 suspected IS militants detained in Turkey along Syrian border
Dushanbe, 29.01.2016. (NIAT “Khovar”). — Turkey on Wednesday captured 25 suspected Islamic State (IS) militants in two separate operations along its border with Syria.
According to a source, border units detained 21 suspected IS members in Kilis province as the group, along with 22 children, tried to illegally enter Turkey from Syria.
Also on Wednesday, authorities captured four others who were trying to enter Syria from Turkey and believed to have been set to join the IS.
