On August 25, at the Palace of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, presented high state awards, prizes, and honorary titles to employees of various professions who have achieved commendable results in their activities.

First, the President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, sincerely congratulated those present on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the sacred national holiday — the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and in honor of their being awarded state awards.

The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, stated that during the 35 years of independence, we have proudly passed through extremely difficult stages of history, relying on the strong will and loyal support and hard work of our people.

President Emomali Rahmon appreciated the significant contribution of each person to the process of building and improving the Motherland and added that their dedicated work in the development of various spheres of state and society is worthily commended by the Government of the country today.

It was emphasized that, taking into account the announcement of 2026 as the “Year of Expanding Constructive Works and Strengthening National Self-Knowledge and Self-Awareness,” greater efforts for the prosperity of all corners of the country, increasing the national sense and patriotism of the people, especially adolescents and youth, are our primary task.

The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, called peace and tranquility, complete political stability and national unity of the Tajiks the greatest achievements, and stated that the employees awarded with state awards will continue to mobilize their capabilities and strength to further strengthen the magnificent building of independence and freedom of the Motherland, the spiritual foundations of society, and the progress of the independent and sovereign state of the Tajiks.

After the speech of the Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, a ceremony of presenting state awards was held.

For high labor achievements, effective work in the civil service, the development of science and culture, and other sectors of the national economy, 165 employees of the fields of science and culture, healthcare, production of goods and services, and local government bodies received state awards of the Republic of Tajikistan from the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon.

By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan “On awarding employees of science and culture, healthcare, production of goods and services, local government bodies, other civil servants and entrepreneurs with state awards of the Republic of Tajikistan”, a number of employees were awarded in accordance with Article 69 of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan state awards of the Republic of Tajikistan for their significant contribution to the development of science and culture of the country, protection of public health, effective work in the civil service and high achievements in production and entrepreneurship.

At the ceremony of awarding state awards, the Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, emphasized the contribution of the country’s scientists, writers, and culture figures.

As a result of these awards, 7 people were awarded today, including the honorary title of People’s Artist of Tajikistan.

At the award ceremony, 1 person was awarded the honorary title of Master of Art of Tajikistan, 10 people were awarded the honorary title of Honored Artist of Tajikistan, 12 people were awarded the honorary title of Honored Worker of Tajikistan, 2 people were awarded the Order of Honor, I degree, 18 people were awarded the Order of Honor, II degree, 81 people were awarded the Medal of Honorable Service, and 2 people were awarded the Medal of Mercy.

Also, on this day, 22 people were awarded the Jubilee Medal of the 35th Anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Social protection of the population, development of science and education, healthcare, and culture are among the priority areas of the policy of the Government of the country, and necessary measures are being taken to improve working conditions and living standards of employees in the aforementioned sectors to this day.

During the award ceremony, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, appreciated the loyal service of specialists of various professions, including scientists and teachers, doctors, poets and writers, people of culture and art, diplomatic personnel, workers, builders and farmers, who have made a valuable contribution to the development of our beloved country.

At this ceremony, the contribution of patriotic entrepreneurs, investors and generous individuals to the progress and prosperity of our country was called very valuable.

The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, honored with state awards specialists, workers, entrepreneurs, heads of domestic and foreign companies who worked hard in the construction of the crucial Roghun facility and brought the country closer to energy independence.

According to the decision of the Committee of the State Award of the Republic of Tajikistan named after Abuabdullo Rudaki in the field of literature, art, architecture and journalism in 2026, 10 people became laureates of this award by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
