On September 11, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, arrived in Rasht district for a working visit. The purpose of the visit was to inaugurate various facilities across the districts of the Rasht Valley, meet with local residents, and participate in festive celebrations marking the 35th anniversary of State Independence.

At the Rasht district airport, the Head of State was welcomed with respect, sincerity, and special warmth by the district’s leadership and proud residents.

Upon arrival, President Emomali Rahmon first inaugurated the Rasht district airport.

The airport building was renovated through development efforts supported by domestic entrepreneurs, and modern passenger service facilities have been established. This initiative paves the way for the future opening of new flight routes connecting the area with other regions, while ensuring that services meet modern standards. The Head of State highly commended the work of the builders and gave instructions and recommendations to the officials for further improving the airport’s operations.
