On September 21, in Asht District, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, remotely commissioned seven facilities of various purposes.
First, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, commissioned the Kurush–Bekobod highway. The facility was constructed as part of development and improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the transport infrastructure of Asht District.

The Kurush–Bekobod highway covers a distance of 12.7 kilometers and was constructed in accordance with modern road-building requirements. It will ensure uninterrupted movement of vehicles and provide more convenient travel conditions for local residents.

The commissioning of this highway is of great importance to residents of rural communities and settlements in the area, improving transportation opportunities and connectivity between localities.

The Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, also remotely commissioned the Khistevarz–Sohilob highway.

It was reported that the road is 10 kilometers long and represents an important infrastructure facility. The construction of the new road will strengthen transport links between populated areas, facilitate residents’ access to service centers, and create favorable conditions for the transportation of goods and products.

The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, also remotely commissioned the new building of the Department of Education of Asht District.

The new building, located in the district center, provides modern working conditions for more than 50 employees. The new Department of Education building will create the necessary foundation for improving the efficiency of the sector’s personnel.

The Bunyod Sanatorium Limited Liability Company, located in the Aksikon area of the Mehrobod rural community of Asht District, was the fourth facility whose operations were launched by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on September 21.

The Bunyod Sanatorium was constructed by local entrepreneur Istamoy Madalieva in accordance with modern requirements and is intended to receive citizens and provide suitable conditions for recreation and treatment.

The facility has a capacity of 120 beds and began operations after the completion of construction and the necessary infrastructure. The new sanatorium has created 30 permanent jobs.

The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, then remotely commissioned a preschool educational institution in the village of Dusti, Asht District.

The kindergarten is designed for 180 children, and its commissioning will expand opportunities for children in the village to receive preschool education and care.

The institution was built at the initiative of local entrepreneur Rahmonzoda Zoir Abdusamad. The construction of this new educational facility has provided more than 20 local residents with permanent employment.

Among the newly constructed and commissioned facilities, the National Emblem Square of the Republic of Tajikistan in Shaydon Township, Asht District, was also remotely commissioned. The facility was built to improve and beautify the township, strengthen patriotic sentiment and national self-awareness, and enhance the architectural appearance of the settlement.

The National Emblem Square was constructed with a modern design incorporating distinctive elements of national culture. It can also be used for important public, cultural, and political events.

The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, also commissioned a new additional building of Secondary School No. 9 in the Oryon rural community of Asht District, which provides suitable educational and learning conditions for 240 students. The building was constructed with funding from the Executive Authority of Sughd Province. The new facility has spacious classrooms and modern amenities, creating appropriate conditions for improving the quality of education and student development.

The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, was subsequently presented with the construction project for the Bobojon Ghafurov–Asht highway, which will extend for 106 kilometers.

The highway will have international significance, passing through Bobojon Ghafurov and Asht districts of Sughd Province and connecting Tajikistan with Uzbekistan.

The project has been developed to improve road conditions, develop transport infrastructure, and create favorable conditions for the movement of vehicles. The construction of the road will improve transport connections between cities and districts and contribute to the economic and social development of the region. At the same time, implementation of the project will significantly facilitate travel for residents and the transportation of goods and products.

The construction of the road will provide new impetus to the development of industry and agriculture in the region. The project is expected to significantly increase traffic flows, lead to the emergence of numerous service facilities along the road, increase the production of goods in the area, and expand trade relations with the Republic of Uzbekistan.
