On October 24, as part of his working visit to the city of Vahdat, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, remotely inaugurated 16 facilities serving various purposes.

First, the Head of State officially launched operations at a glass manufacturing plant owned by Khushruz Limited Liability Company, located in Zarnisor village of the Rajab Ismoilov rural community. The enterprise has created 30 jobs.

Two other industrial facilities were also inaugurated remotely: a garment factory operated by Khushruz Limited Liability Company and a sausage production plant belonging to Bahromi Purfayz Limited Liability Company, both located in Zarnisor village of the Rajab Ismoilov rural community. Together, these enterprises have created nearly 100 permanent jobs.

More than 130 industrial enterprises are currently operating in Vahdat, with their annual production valued at approximately 1.177 billion somoni.

On the same day, five additional buildings at educational institutions were inaugurated remotely, providing educational facilities for 3,040 students.

Another educational facility, the private Zakiya preschool, was also commissioned, with a capacity of 210 children.

According to officials, Vahdat currently has 161 educational institutions serving more than 107,440 students, as well as 18 preschool educational institutions catering to 3,360 children.

This year, a large number of the city’s students participated in subject competitions and national academic Olympiads, winning 31 medals, including one gold, six silver, and 24 bronze medals.

On the same day, President Emomali Rahmon also inaugurated a specialized spinal health center with 30 beds in the Kofiyon neighborhood of Numon Roziq settlement, as well as a new health center in the Bahoriston rural community.

According to available information, the central hospital and its branches, 30 health centers, and 89 medical posts currently provide healthcare services to more than 398,400 residents of Vahdat.

In addition, a sports ground and a modern bathhouse in Mullo Davlat village, along with three other football grounds in the villages of Gheshi, Simiganj, and Zarnisor, were inaugurated remotely.

It was reported that the city currently has 174 sports grounds and two large football fields.

By September of this year, local athletes had participated in 38 national-level competitions and won nearly 200 medals.

Continuing the program, Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon remotely inaugurated a shopping and service center that also houses a garment workshop.

The facility, offering a wide range of services, was built by patriotic local entrepreneurs as part of the Year of Expanding Improvement and Development Works and Strengthening National Identity and Self-Awareness.

The 15-story building houses a shopping and service center, including stores selling household goods. It has provided 60 local residents with permanent jobs and competitive salaries.

As part of the implementation of the action plan adopted by the local executive authorities to mark the 35th anniversary of State Independence, a total of 812 facilities have been constructed across Vahdat. During President Emomali Rahmon’s working visit, more than 35 facilities of various types were commissioned.

President Emomali Rahmon emphasized that the opening of facilities serving different purposes contributes to creating suitable working conditions, increasing industrial production, improving people’s living standards, and fostering a sense of national identity and patriotism among the younger generation.
