Zuhurov invites Rabbani to visit Tajikistan
Dushanbe, 16.03.2016. (NIAT “Khovar”). - “Pakistan is a friendly country and partner of Tajikistan and the development of friendly relations between the two countries is one of the important directions of foreign policy of the Republic of Tajikistan”, — said Shukurjon Zuhurov — Chairman of Majlisi namoyandagon of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan during a meeting with Raza Rabbani — Chairman of Senate of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
During the meeting the sides have discussed the issues of strengthening of inter-parliamentary cooperation, economic, energy, culture, tourism and other priority fields of relations between the two countries. The parties have also expressed their joint position in the context of the fight against terrorism, extremism and drug trafficking. It was noted that in a very complicated world conditions our relations should be more developed and we have to use the existing opportunities jointly to fight against any negative phenomenon.
Following the meeting Shukurjon Zuhurov invited Raza Rabbani to visit Tajikistan at any convenient time. The invitation was accepted by Raza Rabbani with pleasure.
