Meeting of Emomali Rahmon with the President of Turkmenistan
Dushanbe, 11.12.2015 (NIAT «Khovar»). –President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon this evening within the framework of participation at the High level International Conference on “The Policy of Neutrality: International Cooperation for Peace, Security and Development”, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of neutrality of Turkmenistan, has met with President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
During the meeting the issues of expansion of trade-economic, transport, energy and cultural ties between the two countries were discussed.
The most important topics of conversation have been issues of cooperation in order to ensure regional security and stability and the prevention of modern threats.
