President Emomali Rahmon Remotely Inaugurates Six Facilities at the Isfara Coal Mine

On March 31, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, following the commissioning of Coal Mine No. 8 of the Anghisht Joint-Stock Company, remotely inaugurated several social and infrastructure facilities at the same site in the city of Isfara.
First, the State Flag Square, featuring a 53-meter-high flagpole, was officially unveiled in the Chorkuh rural jamoat of Isfara.
Three preschool educational institutions, each with a capacity of 360 children, were also opened in the Vorukh and Khodja Alo jamoats. This initiative is of particular importance for expanding access to preschool education and supporting the development of the younger generation.
Subsequently, the Isfara-1 electrical substation, constructed within the framework of the CASA-1000 project, was commissioned. The facility will play a significant role in strengthening energy security and ensuring a stable electricity supply for the population and industrial sectors.
A sewing workshop and a medical service center were also inaugurated in the Chorkuh jamoat, creating 40 permanent jobs for local residents.
The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, called on patriotic entrepreneurs in Isfara to further expand urban development initiatives with a strong sense of responsibility, make a meaningful contribution to the development of independent Tajikistan, and mark the 35th anniversary of the country’s state independence with significant achievements.
