President Emomali Rahmon stressed that “today, Russian Federation as our most important strategic partner is interested in increasing exports of fruit and vegetables from Tajikistan, it is also in our interests.»

According to the President of the country Emomali Rahmon, the necessary base for increasing the production of fruits and vegetables and their export from the country are prepared, thanks to the implementation of several government programs in the recent years, in the area of 75 thousand hectares have been laid new orchards and vineyards.

In addition, in the framework of the program adopted for 2016-2020 years, an area of ​​over 20 thousand hectares of new orchards and vineyards will be planted. In most orchards and vineyards are grown export varieties, the fruits of which are in great demand abroad.
