On March 31, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Honorable Shavkat Mirziyoyev, arrived in the city of Khujand, Sughd Province, to take part in trilateral meeting and negotiations among the Heads of State of Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, and to attend the International Navruz celebration and other joint events.
At the International Airport of Khujand, the high-ranking guest was welcomed by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, as a sign of good neighborliness and traditions of hospitality.
Beautiful Tajik girls presented the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan with a bouquet of flowers.
To welcome the distinguished guest, a red carpet was laid out at the airport, adorned with photographs of the Heads of State, as well as State Flags and slogans praising the friendship and brotherhood of the peoples of the three neighboring countries.
A short cultural program performed by artists at the airport added special splendor to the ceremony of welcoming the high-ranking guest.
