CSTO Secretary General arrived in Dushanbe
Dushanbe, 18.04.2016 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization /CSTO/ Nikolai Bordyuzha has arrived in Tajikistan.
According to the CSTO press secretary Vladimir Zainetdinov, CSTO Secretary General will take part in the opening of the first joint military exercises of forces and means of intelligence of the armed forces of the CSTO Member States “Search-2016” that will begin on April 18- 22 at the ground of “Maghob” and “Lahore” around Dushanbe.
During the visit Nikolai Bordyuzha plans to hold meetings with top political and military leadership of Tajikistan, during which the situation in the Central Asian region of collective security taking into account the influence of Afghanistan’s factor will be discussed. He will also inform about the preparations for the meetings of statutory bodies of the Organization — the Council of Foreign Ministers, Council of Defense Ministers and Committee of Secretaries of Security Councils, which are scheduled for June-July in Yerevan.
