Leader of the Nation got familiarized with activities of SUE «Complex of permanent greenhouses» of Norak City of Khatlon Region
Dushanbe, 27.04.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. In the city of Norak of Khatlon Region, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon directly got acquainted with the work of the State Unitary Enterprise «Complex of permanent greenhouses».
It was emphasized that the city of Norak’s complex of greenhouses was built in 1982 and in the period of independence has been completely renovated.
The total area of permanent greenhouses is 12 hectares, in 6 hectares of which there are 6 greenhouses where early vegetables are grown, including tomatoes, cucumbers, capsicum, cabbage and greens.
It was also noted that in the current season farmers from 6 existing greenhouses collected about 100 tons of early vegetables, including 69 tons of tomatoes, over 3.5 tons of cucumbers and 5 tons of other crops, which have been sold in the market at an affordable price.
