Finance Ministry, World Bank discussed the funding issues on the project of rehabilitation of Norak HPP
Dushanbe, 20.05.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Minister of Finance of Tajikistan Abdusalom Qurboniyon has met with the World Bank’s Energy and Mining Sector Manager for Europe and Central Asia Region Ranjit Lamech on the eve in Dushanbe.
During the meeting the issues of financing the project of rehabilitation of Norak hydroelectric power plant /HPP/ on the basis of the feasibility study of the project have been discussed.
The subject of the discussion were also the concept and plan of implementation of this project, as well as the role of international financial institutions, particularly the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, Eurasian Development Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Islamic Development Bank in this direction.
