Interior Minister met with US Ambassador to Tajikistan
Dushanbe, 20.06.2016 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Lieutenant-General Rahimzoda Ramazon Hamro has met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the United States in the Republic of Tajikistan Ms. Elizabeth Millard on June 17 here in Dushanbe.
According to the Interior Ministry’s press centre, the meeting was also attended by the head of department on military cooperation of the US Embassy Kevin Steele.
Minister has congratulated Ms. Elizabeth Millard on her appointment and wished every success in her future activity.
During the meeting the parties have exchanged views on the issues related to the expansion of bilateral cooperation in the fight against crime, terrorism, extremism and modern threats and challenges. It was noted that such meetings are useful and will provide more opportunity for developing friendly relations and mutual cooperation.
