Leader of the Nation opened Tajikistan MoD special-purpose military unit in Vahday city
Dushanbe, 04.06.2016 / NIAT «Khovar» /. Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has attended and delivered speech at the opening ceremony of a new Tajikistan MoD special-purpose military unit and handed over certificate of honor and Combat banner to its personnel staff.
At the entrance to a military unit the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Emomali Rahmon was met by the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces — First Deputy Defence Minister Major General Emomali Sobirzoda in accordance with the rules of salute.
Chief of the Armed Forces welcomed staff, after which began the combat banner hand-over ceremony.
It should be noted that the combat banner is handed over to divisions, regiment, training units, military educational institutions and other private entities as a symbol of pride, valor and military glory. For every soldier it is a symbol of the sacred duty of serving the Motherland, courageous, selfless and valiant defense of its every corner.
Combat banner at all times, in spite of the change of its name, is stored in the unit. Changing the name or numeral of the military unit is made with the certificate of honor of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan with the presentation of the combat banner.
After the presentation of the battle flag the military personnel staff took the oath to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Emomali Rahmon.
After the performance of the National anthem the commander of a military unit, as is customary in the military, to the sounds of the Military brass band has marched past in front of the combat banner carried by personnel staff.
In the course of the event Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon addressed the personnel of the special mission battalion.
After the speeches, a military march of officers and soldiers was performed under the command of the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces — First Deputy Minister of Defence.
Inside the military unit various auxiliary buildings and facilities have been built, including the headquarters, big hostel, soldier’s shower room, classrooms, a room for meetings with parents, a modern dining room with a capacity in one shift to accommodate more than 200 people.
