Dushanbe, 04.08.2016. /NIAT «Khovar»/. In the continuation of his working visit to Roghun HPP, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon also reviewed 3 machine halls of hydroelectric power plant that are the main components of the installation site of power generation.

The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, initially got familiar with the main design of mechanism of the units and power generation, further modes of operation of machinery, especially its structure, in general, with final result of the work done.

During familiarization with the project, the Leader of Nation, Emomali Rahmon paid attention to the quality implementation of work, a high sense of responsibility of professionals and builders of the construction site, and recommended that the responsible persons should implement the scheduled work without delays.

It was reported that all the preparatory work, concreting and strengthening of the facility, particularly for the necessary service infrastructure units and other control equipment in this building site is carried out according to the plan and with high quality meeting international standards of construction.

After getting familiar with the quality of work at the installation site, the Leader of Nation, Emomali Rahmon visited the main hall of Century’s Construction — Roghun hydroelectric power plant, which will have the units for power generation installed.

At the construction site of machine halls, the volume of work performed, fortification of the wall structure, mechanism and procedure for the establishment of units, including their connection to devices receiving power were presented to President Emomali Rahmon.

The preparatory work and installation of necessary equipment is being continued for installation of 6 units with total power capacity of 3600MW. Upon completion of preparatory works, the details of the placement of the first units that will be implemented based on action plan of Roghun HPP shall be in the final stage.

During familiarization with the process of work at Roghun HPP, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon visited the workshop for installation of transformers, built on the basis of the customer base — Company Roghun hydropower plant.

As it turned out, at this important assembly point, 2 power transformers with the total capacity of 700 thousand KVA has already been installed.

According to the plan, the assembly workshop prepares one powerful power transformer per month.

In the future, this workshop, along with the assembly and installation of transformers at Roghun HPP, will serve for collection and preparation of transformers of other small and large hydro power plants.
