The Leader of the Nation conferred state awards and cash prize to athlete Dilshod Nazarov after XXXI Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro
Dushanbe, 26.08.2016. /NIAT «Khovar»/. This evening, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Emomali Rahmon received Dilshod Nazarov, who arrived in Dushanbe (homeland) after participating and winning a gold medal in hammer throwing at XXXI Summer Olympic Games 2016 in Rio de Janeiro.
Te Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon congratulated Dilshod Nazarov for winning of the highest sports records, expressed his gratitude for a worthy contribution to the representation of the Tajik nation and people, raising country’s sports prestige in the international arena.
By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated August 22, 2016, Dilshod Nazarov was awarded the state award — Sharaf Order 1st degree, for meritorious achievements in the development of sports and attainment of high sports results at the XXXI Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro 2016. The President of the country Emomali Rahmon personally conferred this award solemnly upon Dilshod Nazarov.
In addition, the Leader of the Nation handed 300 000 somoni to Dilshod Nazarov. This cash prize was allocated by the Order of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated 24th of August 2016 from the Reserve Fund of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
