Today a telephone conversation took place between the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

The Heads of State discussed a range of issues of bilateral relations and prospects for further development and deepening of Tajik-Russian strategic partnership.

The parties also exchanged views on topical issues of regional and international agenda.

In this context, the two heads of friendly states paid special attention to regional cooperation and expressed support for further coordination of efforts of the parties in this regard.

Vladimir Putin congratulated Emomali Rahmon on his birthday and extended him his warm and kind wishes.
