Today morning, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon arrived for a working visit to Kulob area in order to get familiar with the living conditions of population and to inaugurate a number of new social facilities.

The working visit of the Head of State started in Muminobod district. President of the country Emomali Rahmon was met by residents with great sincerity and cordiality.

Thus, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, President of the Republic of Tajikistan took part in the ceremony of commissioning secondary educational institution No. 6 designed for 624 in the Chashmasor village of Muminobod district.

The construction works were suspended in 1991 and due to the strengthening of the foundations of national statehood, independence and creative politics of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, construction of the facility was re-launched in September 2015.

President Emomali Rahmon was briefed that the building occupies a total area of 2,3 thousand square metres. The three-storied school has 28 classrooms, including the chemistry classes, physics, computer classes. It is equipped with an electronic library with 15 computers connected to Internet, a conference hall for 288 seats, a dining room for 144 seats, a sports hall for 140 people, and ancillary facilities.

Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon got familiar with intensive gardening of the collective farm «Khoja Nur» and visited the exhibition of achievements of the district’s agrarian sector as well.

Moreover, President of the country Emomali Rahmon attended the opening of a Palace of Culture in the administrative centre of Muminobod.

Head of State cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the Palace of Culture, and then reviewed the conditions created here and praised the quality of construction work.

President of the country Emomali Rahmon was informed that the building occupies a total area of 1874,06 thousand square metres.

The two-storied building has a large hall for 316 spectators, 21 room, 1 hotel, a lobby and dance hall. The construction work commenced in August 2016 in the amount of 9 million 755 thousand 83 somoni.

The workers of culture and art expressed their gratitude to the Leader of the Nation for such a worthy gift, and ongoing support.

The Head of State instructed the workers of culture and art of the region to make greater efforts for the development of the art and high national culture, constantly improve their skills.

Likewise, the President of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon attended the ceremony of the inauguration of Department of the State Committee of National Security in Muminobod district.

The three-storied building was constructed for the amount of 1 million 700 thousand somoni.

President has presented the staff of the national security Committee of the district and their families with the keys of 2- and 3-bedroom apartments, as well as admonished them for honest and faithful service to the people and the Motherland.

Similarly, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon cut the ribbon to officially inaugurate the Central Stadium of the district for more than 7 thousand spectators at the street named after Temursho Rahimov of Muminobod township. The total area of the stadium is 11 thousand 485 m2. Over 14.6 million somoni were spent for the construction and equipment of this facility.

President also held a meeting with the management, activists and residents of the district during his trip to Muminobod.
