Issues of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Pakistan discussed in Islamabad
DUSHANBE, 13.01.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Ambassador of Tajikistan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Sherali Jononov has met with the Federal Minister for National Food Security and research of Pakistan Sikandar Hayatkhan Bosan on January 12 in Islamabad. It has been reported by the MFA Information Department.
“The two sides discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation in the fields of food security, agriculture and processing industry”, — it is stated in the statement of the ministry.
Recall that the diplomatic relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan were established on June 6, 1992. Since the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan more than 500 Pakistani students studied and graduated from higher educational institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan. In this period more than 30 agreements, memoranda of understanding and other official documents between the two countries were signed.
