Regular meeting of the Water Friends Group held in New York
DUSHANBE, 13.02.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. On 10 February 2017 the Permanent Representative of Tajikistan to the United Nations Mahmadamin Mahmadaminov participated and addressed the regular meeting of the Water Friends Group, which was held at the Permanent Mission of Hungary to the UN in New York, MFA Information Department reports.
According to the source, in his statement M. Mahmadaminov provided information to participants regarding the adoption of UN GA Resolution “International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development”, 2018-2028” and its importance to facilitate the promotion of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
“During the meeting participants have also exchanged views on the major global water agenda issues”, — says the source.
