The Republic of Tajikistan welcomes the ceasefire agreements reached between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America, reports Khovar, citing Foreign Ministry of the country.
We do hope that the upcoming negotiations between the conflicting parties in the coming days will lead to a long-term and comprehensive peace in the region.
We do believe that there is no military solution to this conflict and that its continuation will only further aggravate the already complex situation in the Middle East and will cause enormous damage to all countries of the region.
Tajikistan once again calls on the conflicting parties to refrain from the use of military force and pursue political and diplomatic means based on the fundamental norms of international law and the UN Charter.
