Tajik Interior Minister and Afghan Ambassador discuss the issues to fight against terrorism and extremism
DUSHANBE, 07.02.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Ramazon Rahimzoda on February 4 met with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to the Republic of Tajikistan Mohammad Gul Zalmai Yunusi. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the press centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country.
According to the ministry’ message, at first Interior Minister has congratulated Ambassador on his appointment to this important diplomatic position, and wished him successes in performing his duties.
“During the meeting it was noted that the fruitful cooperation in various aspects of daily life of the two countries, especially in the fight against organized crime between internal affairs bodies is being developed and joint efforts in this field are to be taken.
It was reportedly noted that the two parties have discussed the issues related to the fight against terrorism, extremism, illegal drug trafficking, border security and other topical issues.
