JICA intends to provide technical assistance to the customs authorities
DUSHANBE, 06.03.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. JICA intends to provide special roentgen equipment and necessaries to the customs authorities of the Republic of Tajikistan in the future. It was stated at the meeting of Azim Haydar, Deputy Head of the Customs Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan with Hideki Tanabi, newly appointed Director of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
According to the press centre of the Customs Service, during the meeting issues related to the expansion of cooperation between customs authorities of the Republic of Tajikistan and JICA have also been discussed.
Azim Haydar has informed head of JICA about the activities of customs authorities of Tajikistan and level of cooperation of Customs Service with JICA. It was noted that customs authorities of Tajikistan expanded cooperation with JICA and interested in its development in the field of training of specialists, exchange of experience and attraction of technical assistance. In this regard, H. Tanabi has expressed his readiness to provide technical assistance, to train and enhance qualification of staff of customs field.
During the meeting both parties had also an exchange of views on mutually beneficial cooperation.
