DUSHANBE, 21.03.2017. /NIAT «Khovar»/. The Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon attended the solemn events devoted to the International Nawruz holiday at the capital’s «Nawruzgoh» today.

In his address, President Emomali Rahmon offered his heartfelt congratulations to all people of our country and decent residents of our capital and guests on the occasion of the International Nawruz holiday — the holiday of nature awakening, new dreams, new hopes, and new aspirations.

It was pointed out that Nawruz is one of the most precious holidays of Tajik people and other peoples in Nawruz basin, which has unified peoples with supreme humane ideology like friendship and cooperation, creativeness and well-being promotion, human love and charity, as well as thankfulness to the nature’s beauty and richness.

The head of state Emomali Rahmon stressed that one of Nawruz symbols is to clean houses, streets and avenues, planting new trees and sowing seeds of hope.

The Leader of the Nation admonished all the people of the country to make more efforts to ensure further flourishment for the benefit of improving and prospering the country.

Concluding his address, the President of the country Emomali Rahmon once again extended his congratulations on the occasion of International Nawruz Holiday and wished to the people of Tajikistan health, success and prosperity.

The address was followed by a colorful cultural program and theatrical performance which was prepared by masters of culture.
