Meeting of the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan with the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Japan
DUSHANBE, 18.04.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On April 14 within the First Meeting of Tajikistan-Japan Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Technical and Scientific Cooperation was held a meeting of the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan led by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Nematullo Hikmatullozoda with the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Japan Nobuo Kishi. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the Embassy of Tajikistan in Japan.
During the meeting the issues of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries, including the implementation of the agreements reached following the talks between the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe, who paid an official visit to Tajikistan in 2015, have been discussed.
The parties have emphasized the importance of interaction within Tajikistan-Japan Intergovernmental Commission and expressed confidence that the holding of the First Meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission will contribute to intensification of bilateral trade-economic cooperation and will open a new stage in its further expansion.
There also took place an exchange of views on important issues of regional agenda.
