National Bank of Tajikistan is ready to cooperate with JICA
DUSHANBE, 19.04.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The National Bank of Tajikistan has appealed to JICA for the priority areas of cooperation and is always ready to develop bilateral cooperation. It was stated by Jamshed Nurmahmadzoda, Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan during the meeting with Hideki Tanabe, the newly elected Head of JICA. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the press centre of the National Bank of Tajikistan.
The current state of the country’s banking system, as well as innovation and reports in NBT were also discussed at the meeting. Chairman of NBT having expressed gratitude to JICA for support in the field of training of specialists within JDS project (“Program of study quotas for the development of human resource capacity”), hoped for the intensification of this process in order to increase the education quotas.
Nurmahmadzoda noted that NBT is interested in establishing cooperation in the field of preparing specialists, exchange of views and attracting technical assistance in the field of banking system.
Hideki Tanabe, in turn, expressed readiness to develop cooperation in these priority areas, including providing technical assistance in the field of training of specialists of the NBT in sectors of analysis and prevention of risks, monetary policy, macroeconomic and others.
