PM Qohir Rasulzoda meets Minister of Employment and Labor of the Republic of Korea in Dushanbe
DUSHANBE, 27.04.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Qohir Rasulzoda, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, today, April 27, has met with Lee Ki-Kwon, Minister of Employment and Labor of the Republic of Korea here in Dushnabe. Korean Minister Lee Ki-Kwon has arrived in Dushanbe on a working visit.
During the meeting the parties have discussed the state and prospects of the whole complex of relations between Tajikistan and Korea, which were established on April 27, 1992, as well as have considered the ways of their further expansion.
It was noted the positive trends in the relations between the two countries over the past 25 years, including the intensification of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, as well as the importance of maintaining regular political contacts and dialogue at the highest level.
It was also emphasized the need for practical activation of cultural and humanitarian component of cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting the parties once again confirmed that there are many areas for joint efforts, the relevant structures of the two countries should carry out systematic work aimed at bringing the whole complex of bilateral ties in a new trajectory of development.
Special attention was paid to the expansion of ties in the sphere of labor migration as a critical factor in the implementation of plans and programs on ensuring employment of the population.
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, expressing interest in diversifying of organized direction of labor force abroad, stressed the importance of accelerated development and preparation for signing of the draft of Intergovernmental Agreement on Cooperation in the field of labour migration and social protection of labor migrants, which is under the consideration of the parties.
Qohir Rasulzoda, wishing Korean Minister Lee Ki-Kwon success in his work, spoke in favor of building up common efforts to achieve new significant results in strengthening of friendship relations and deepening of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
