Tajikistan and Malaysia expand cooperation
DUSHANBE, 19.04.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Tajikistan and Malaysia intend to develop cooperation in various fields. It was stated on April 18 at the meeting of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan in Malaysia Muzaffar Muhammadi and Malaysian Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Dr. Hoji Van Junaydi bin Tuanku Jaafar. NIAT “Khovar” has been informed by the Embassy of Tajikistan in Malaysia.
During the meeting the parties had an exchange of views on important issues of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Malaysia in various fields, including political, economic, investment and tourism. The issues related to finding the ways of further development of mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Malaysia in the fields of energy, environmental protection and efficient use of natural resources have been also discussed.
It should be noted that on March of this year the Republic of Tajikistan and Malaysia have marked the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations.
