The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon held a meeting with Lebanon’s Prime Minister Saad Al-Hariri on the sidelines of the Arab Islamic American summit in Riyadh.

The talks covered, in particular, the prospects of bilateral relationships between Tajikistan and Lebanon.

During the talks which were conducted in a candid and sincere atmosphere, both sides expressed readiness to expand cooperation between the two countries in political, economic, social, investment and other issues of common interest.

The two sides also exchanged views on current international and regional matters, particularly coordination of efforts to fight terrorism and extremism.
