Ambassador of Tajikistan in the Benelux countries met with the Rector — President of the Leiden University
DUSHANBE, 10.06.2017. /NIAT «Khovar»/. On June 8, 2017 Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Benelux countries Erkinhon Rahmatullozoda met with the Rector — President of the Leiden University of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Professor Carel Stolker.
According to the MFA Information Department, during the meeting, the parties discussed the issues of establishing cooperation between the university and research and educational institutions of Tajikistan. The subject of the discussion was also the opportunities for cooperation through the exchange of students and teachers, as well as grants for scholarships at the University of Leiden.
On the same day, the Ambassador met with the Executive Director of the Leiden University Institute for Area Studies Professor Frank Pieke. The Institute studies history, religion, culture, language and the regional situation in Asia.
