Dushanbe hosts meeting of the Council of CIS Ministers of Internal Affairs
DUSHANBE, 21.06.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The issues of strengthening cooperation in combating illegal drug trafficking were discussed by the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Ramazon Rahimzoda, Director of the Drug Control Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Sherkhon Salimzoda and representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation on drug control in the Republic of Tajikistan Magomed Kilyaskhanov.
According to the press centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country, during the meeting the parties had an exchange of information on the holding of preventive works among the public, as well as considered other important topics, in particular, prevention of transnational crimes. A number of constructive proposals were also presented.
The parties had an exchange of views on the preparations for the upcoming meeting of the Council of CIS Ministers of Internal Affairs, which will be held in Dushanbe in the near future.
