Eid al Fitr to be celebrated in Tajikistan on June 26
DUSHANBE, 22.06.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. This year Eid al-Fitr (Eid Ramadan) will be celebrated in Tajikistan on Monday, June 26. The relevant decision was taken today, June 22 by the Council of Ulema of the Islamic Centre of Tajikistan. Thus, on June 26 at 6 a.m. in all Cathedral mosques of the country will be a festive prayer in honor of the end of the Holy month of Ramadan.
The Holy month of Ramadan in Tajikistan began on May 27 and will end on June 25. According to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On holidays” Eid Ramadan is declared as a holiday.
