DUSHANBE, 07.06.2017. /NIAT «Khovar»/. The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, President of the Republic of Tajikistan and President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mamnoon Hussain exchanged congratulatory messages on the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between both countries.

The President of Tajikistan’s message reads, in part:

“Excellency,

It is my honour to extend my sincere congratulations on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

It is gratifying that over the past years, beneficial   cooperation and traditionally friendly relations between our   countries have been significantly developing in all levels of mutual interest and have achieved new areas of cooperation.

Taking this joyful opportunity, I firmly believe that with the efforts of both sides, the partnership relations in various spheres will also be for the benefit of the people of the two countries in recent future and will speed up their development   and expansion.  Tajik side will boost necessary efforts for increased enhancement of this relation.

I would like to avail myself of this opportunity to wish further progress and prosperity to friendly people of Pakistan and to wish You, Mr. President strong health, happiness and new achievements.

The President of Pakistan’s message reads, in part:
