Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan and Hungary
DUSHANBE, 28.06.2017. /NIAT «Khovar»/. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Aslov met today June 28 with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Peter Szijjarto, who arrived in Dushanbe on an official visit.
According to the MFA Information Department, during the “tete-a-tete” meeting ministers of foreign affairs expressed satisfaction with the achieved level of mutually beneficial relations between the two countries.
At the expanded negotiations with the participation of delegations the sides discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Hungary, and highly assessed the prospects of development of relations between the two countries.
The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan and Hungary also exchanged congratulatory messages on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries (2 July 2017).
It was expressed satisfaction with the level and content of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries in the political, economic and cultural fields over 25 years of diplomatic relations. The interlocutors expressed their readiness to further strengthen political dialogue and search for new ways and mechanisms of expanding ties in the areas of mutual interest.
A constructive exchange of views was also held on topical issues of the regional and international agenda.
A briefing took place following the expanded negotiations during which the sides informed the representatives of mass media on the results of talks on important issues of bilateral, regional and multilateral cooperation of the two countries.
