Tajikistan and Russia to expand cooperation in combating crime
DUSHANBE, 30.06.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Director of the Drug Сontrol Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Salimzoda Sherkhon met with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Russia Vladimir Kolokoltsev.
According to the DCA Public Relations Centre, during the meeting the parties have discussed the issues of expanding cooperation in the sphere of preventing transnational crime.
According to the source, in particular, the issues of joint struggle against terrorism, extremism, illegal drug trafficking and other organized crime were discussed.
The issues of conducting joint operative-search actions, upgrading the skills of the Agency’s staff were also considered.
The parties have expressed readiness to enhance mutually beneficial cooperation.
