Tajikistan to expand cooperation with Costa Rica
DUSHANBE, 06.06.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Costa Rica was discussed at the meeting of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Russian Federation Imomuddin Sattorov with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Costa Rica Arturo Furne Fasio in Moscow.
According to the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Russian Federation, the parties have assessed the issues to expand cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, culture, as well as to strengthen relations within the framework of international organizations as one of the priority areas of cooperation between the two countries.
It was noted that diplomatic relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and Costa Rica were established in 2001. The heads of diplomatic missions of the two countries have assessed the areas of agriculture, energy and tourism as priority areas for economic cooperation between Tajikistan and Costa Rica.
