“Turkmenistan Airlines” will carry out the first flight on the route Ashgabat — Dushanbe — Ashgabat
DUSHANBE, 07.06.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On June 12, the national airline of Turkmenistan “Turkmenistan Airlines” will carry out its first test flight on the route Ashgabat — Dushanbe — Ashgabat. It was announced by Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Tajikistan Chary Ataev on June 7 at a press conference in Dushanbe.
He has noted that on June 12 a delegation of Turkmenistan consisting of representatives of several ministries and departments, associations of industrialists and entrepreneurs, a direct flight from Ashgabat to arrive in Dushanbe.
It is expected that representatives of the airline and agencies of the two countries — Tajikistan and Turkmenistan will hold talks to establish future direct regular flights on the route Ashgabat — Dushanbe — Ashgabat.
Chary Ataev has noted that direct flights between Dushanbe and Ashgabat will open a new page in strengthening relations between the two friendly countries, as well as to promote trade-economic, scientific and cultural cooperation.
According to him, on the same day with the creative delegation of Tajikistan the plane will fly back to Ashgabat. The Days of Culture of Tajikistan in Turkmenistan will be held on June 12 — 17 in Ashgabat and other cities of this country.
