17 investment projects implemented in Tajikistan’s transport sector
DUSHANBE, 31.07.2017 /NIAT «Khovar»/. 17 investment projects are currently being implemented in the transport sector of the country for a total of over $ 803 million. It was announced today at the press conference by the Minister of Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan Khudoyor Khudoyorzoda.
According to him, of this number, 14 projects concern the reconstruction of motor roads for a total of over $ 773 million, which is 96.3% of the total number of investment projects. Since the implementation of projects over $ 475 million has been invested, of which over $ 37 million account for the first half of 2017.
In the implementation of investment projects for the construction of highways 1,750 people are involved, of which 1,550 people (88.6%) are citizens of Tajikistan.
