Ambassador of Tajikistan met with co-chairman of the Tajik-German Intergovernmental Comission
DUSHANBE, 21.07.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Ambassador of Tajikistan in Germany Maliksho Nematov met with the co-chairman of the Intergovernmental Commission of Tajikistan and Germany on Financial and Technical Cooperation — Director of the Department for Central Asia and China of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany Catherine Ollers and with the head of the department for Tajikistan of this ministry Klaus Tansberger. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Germany.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of the points of the Protocol of the Intergovernmental Commission on Financial and Technical Cooperation for 2016-2017, and positively assessed the implementation of projects in the areas of health, education, support of small and medium businesses, as well as regional development.
Tajik Ambassador, in turn, considered it expedient to continue cooperation in the spheres of health, education, energy, disaster risk reduction, regional development, as well as the implementation of cross-border regional projects taking into account Afghanistan.
The two parties also stressed the importance of holding next consultations of the Intergovernmental Commission of Tajikistan and Germany on Financial and Technical Cooperation in autumn of this year in Dushanbe, and expressed confidence that during these consultations the parties will also discuss new areas of cooperation.
