Economic Minister Nematullo Hikmatullozoda made a statement at the General Debates of the High Level Political Forum 2017
DUSHANBE, 19.07.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan Nematullo Khikmatullozoda yesterday, July 18 delivered a statement at the General Debates of the High Level Political Forum 2017 on sustainable development.
According to the MFA Information Department, in his statement Minister Hikmatullozoda noted that over the past 15 years, Tajikistan due to the strong political will of the country’s leadership, has achieved significant success in many areas, including in the economic and social fields. He also emphasized that in 2016 the country has adopted its National Development Strategy until 2030 and 2 strategies for poverty reduction in 2007-2009 and 2010-2012.
Presenting the position of the Republic of Tajikistan on the global development agenda, Nematullo Hikmatullozoda underlined the necessity to render support to the countries with special needs, including landlocked developing countries (LLDCs).
