First U.S. Trade Delegation visits Tajikistan today
DUSHANBE, 12.07.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The first U.S. Trade Delegation put together by the U.S.-Tajikistan Business Council (USTHBC) will arrive in Dushanbe today, July 12. The delegation will spend two and a half days in the country and will meet with senior government officials, representatives of international financial institutions and local business communities.
According to the MFA Information Department, as part of the agenda, the councils, in close partnership with AmCham Tajikistan, will hold a business forum in Dushanbe on July 14 to present the visiting companies’ ideas, products and services, and to identify mutually beneficial opportunities.
Members of the U.S. Trade Delegation include the founding members of the USKGZBC and USTJBC — AGCO, Baker & McKenzie, and General Electric — and a newer member, the American Councils for International Education.
In addition, the delegation will be joined by U.S. corporations such as AES, Amity Technology, APR Energy, The Coca-Cola Company, Mobilized Construction and WHITE64.
