Beginning of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to the People’s Republic of China
DUSHANBE, 30.08.2017 /NIAT «Khovar»/. The evening of August 30, 2017, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Emomali Rahmon arrived on a state visit to Beijing — the capital of the People’s Republic of China.
At the Beijing international airport, the President Emomali Rahmon was warmly and sincerely met by senior officials of this country.
On the occasion of the meeting of the Head of State Emomali Rahmon, the honor guard was lined up, the national flags of Tajikistan and China fluttered.
It is expected that President Emomali Rahmon as part of his state visit will hold constructive meetings with the Chairman of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping, senior government officials of this country and representatives of influential Chinese companies to strengthen and expand friendly relations and cooperation.
The People’s Republic of China is a strategic partner of the Republic of Tajikistan, strengthening and expanding friendly relations with China is one of the priority directions of Tajikistan’s foreign policy. The normative legal base of relations between the two countries consists of about 200 bilateral documents.
