Today, in the Palace of the Nation, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, granted the state awards, higher military ranks and state prizes to a large group of representatives of various professions who achieved notable results in labor activity on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the state independence of Tajikistan.

Before the award ceremony, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sincerely congratulated those present on the 26th anniversary of State independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and stressed that the fruitful and selfless work of worthy sons of the nation is always appreciated and creative work, aimed at the welfare, prosperity and progress of our beloved homeland, will always be encouraged by the country’s leadership.

The Head of state Emomali Rahmon emphasized that the 26th anniversary of state independence will be remembered by important historical achievements and events, as thanks to this joyous event throughout the country, from the capital to its remotest corners, creative works on landscaping were widely launched.

Thus, for high production and entrepreneurial achievements, effective work in the civil service and in the development of science and culture of the country, a worthy contribution to the protection of constitutional rights of citizens, the fight against crime, protection of public order, valor and selflessness 300 workers of science, culture, production of goods and services, local authorities, other government officials and businessmen, law enforcement officers and military personnel are awarded by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon with the state awards of the Republic of Tajikistan — the Order Zarrintoj II degree, Order Spitamen II degree, Order Sharaf I and II degree, medal Jasorat, medal Khizmati shoista, medal Shafqat, honorary title “People’s Writer of Tajikistan”, “People’s Artist of Tajikistan”, “Honored worker of Tajikistan” and the Diploma of the Republic of Tajikistan.

By Decrees of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the leadership of law enforcement agencies, including the General Prosecutor’s Office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Committee for National Security, was awarded special military ranks “Colonel-General of Justice”, “Colonel-General of Militia”, “Colonel-General” and a number of officials of the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Defense, the Border Guard Troops and the National Guard — with the titles of “Major-General of Militia”, “Major-General”, “Major-General of the Guard”.

Also, by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan a number of scientists of various spheres of science of the republic have been awarded the Ismoili Somoni Prize in 2017.
