DUSHANBE, 16.08.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Today morning, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon with the purpose of familiarization with the course of creative works, the commissioning of a number of vital facilities and acquaintance with the agriculture made a working trip to Khatlon region.

The Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon as part of his trip to the cities and districts of Khatlon region visited Bokhtar district. During the visit to Bokhtar disctrict the Head of state got familiar with the activities of the workers of the commercial cooperative “Somon”, and attended the ceremony of commissioning of a modern refrigeration room, the exhibition of agricultural products of farmers and agrarians of this large agrarian district of the republic, and the ceremony of commissioning the secondary educational institution №14 for 1320 pupils in two shifts.

Then, after familiarization with the construction works and constructive talks with students and teachers of the given school, the President of Tajikistan made a speech in front of numerous representatives of the education sector and activists of Bokhtar district.

On the same day, Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon made also working trip to Vakhsh district of Khatlon region, where he laid the foundation stone and gave start to the construction of the Agrarian College, launched the activities of training and production Center for the production of Atlas and Adras and the Trade Center, became familiar with the conditions of education at the secondary education institution №56 for gifted children. Following familiarization with the conditions of the education in this institution the President Emomali Rahmon extended material and financial assistance to 330 disabled children and orphans at the expense of the Presidential Reserve Fund in the amount of 500 thousand TJS, including wheelchairs for the disabled, bicycles, clothes, food, sweets and financial assistance.

In the continuation of his tour to Vakhsh district, the Head of state got familiarized with the activities of dehkan farms and the achievements of agrarians, as well as visited an exhibition of the national economy’s products in rural jamoat Rudaki

At the end of the working trip Leader of the Nation laid the foundation stone for the construction of the Health Medical Center named after “Ismoil Somoni” in rural jamoat “20th anniversary of Tajikistan’s Independence”, held a sincere and constructive meeting and a conversation with residents and activists of this district, as well as summed up the results of all spheres of activity of the national economy of the Vakhsh for 25 years of independence.
