Tajikistan is interested in strengthening cooperation with Arab investment funds, including the Saudi Fund For Development
DUSHANBE, 13.09.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On September 11, Minister of Energy and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan Usmonali Usmonzoda met with the delegation of representatives of the group of Arab Funds – Saudi Fund For Development, OPEC Fund for International Development and Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development.
According to the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan, Usmonali Usmonzoda expressed gratitude to the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development and OPEC for having good relationships with the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan and in general, for supporting the development of the energy sector and the economy of the Republic of Tajikistan, in particular with financing of these funds a number of projects on recontruction and rehabilitation of power stations and construction of power transmission lines were implemented.
The Tajik side expressed its interest in further strengthening cooperation with Arab investment funds, including the Saudi Fund For Development to implement new energy projects.
