Following his speech at the second session of the Arab Cooperation and Economic Forum with Central Asia and Azerbaijan at Kokhi Somon Palace, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Emomali Rahmon met with Secretary General of the League of Arab States Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit.
The President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon expressed his satisfaction with the development of Tajikistani — Arab League cooperation.
It was expressed confidence that historic visit of the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States to Tajikistan would enhance cooperation to a qualitatively new level.
The discussion also covered a number of topical issues of bilateral cooperation, including the prospects of the Tajikistani — Arab League political dialogue, and boosting of trade, economic, and cultural cooperation.
